The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, has launched PSEB DEPLOY: AI-Powered Tech Bootcamps to equip students and recent graduates with in-demand technical skills and enhance their employability in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding technology sector.

The fully funded program offers 12 weeks of intensive, industry-oriented training totaling 300 hours, including 45 hours dedicated to soft skills development. It is open to final-year students and recent graduates from 2023 onward in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, and related computing disciplines.

Public and private universities and higher education institutions have been encouraged to widely disseminate this opportunity to eligible students and graduates to maximize participation.

Prof. Emeritus Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Rector of the University of Southern Punjab (USP) in Multan and former Founding Vice Chancellor of the National Skills University Islamabad, has warmly appreciated PSEB’s initiative, calling it a valuable step toward bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

He emphasized that fully funded, industry-oriented training programs can play a significant role in preparing Pakistan’s youth for emerging opportunities in artificial intelligence and the digital economy. He encouraged eligible students and recent graduates to take advantage of the program. He urged universities to promote such initiatives to strengthen digital skills, improve graduate employability, and build Pakistan’s technology workforce.
