Federal Education Ministry and Karandaaz Collaboration to Elevate Youth Financial Literacy

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFE&PT) has partnered with Karandaaz Pakistan to enhance financial literacy education. The Federal Secretary, Mr. Mohyuddin A Wani, signed an agreement to implement this project. This collaboration will revolutionize financial education for students, teaching them how to save effectively to live comfortably. Moreover, it will equip them with essential skills to navigate an increasingly complex global economy.
The agreement will see Karandaaz Pakistan support training 3,000 teachers across more than 340 schools in the federal territory (Islamabad). Ultimately, the program is projected to benefit over 134,000 students, providing them with critical knowledge and skills related to financial responsibility and management.
"We are thrilled to partner with Karandaaz Pakistan in this crucial endeavor," said a spokesperson for MoFE&PT. "This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering socioeconomic progress and ensuring inclusive growth. By equipping our youth with financial literacy, we prepare them for a future where they can make informed financial decisions and contribute positively to the national economy."
The initiative is designed to instill a strong foundation of financial understanding among students, which is considered vital for their personal and professional development.
