Under the shimmering skyline of Shenzhen, 100 drones ascended in unison, forming dazzling patterns and lighting up the night sky in a remarkable display of technological prowess. Operated by Shenzhen High Great Technology Co. Ltd., this choreographed spectacle captivated onlookers, blending artistry and cutting-edge innovation. Max Carrera, a visiting vlogger from Mexico, marveled at the synchronized dance of drones. “It’s incredible to see them moving with such precision, creating shapes in perfect harmony with music and lights. This isn’t just entertainment—it’s a testament to Shenzhen’s leadership in technological innovation,” he observed.
This performance encapsulated the spirit of the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2024), which concluded on November 16. This event, China’s most influential technology exhibition, achieved a new milestone with intended transaction volumes exceeding CNY120 billion (approximately $16.6 billion USD). The fair reaffirmed its position as a global hub for cutting-edge technology and innovation, featuring 869 signed contracts and participation from over 5,000 enterprises representing more than 100 countries, making it a truly global event.
The scope of CHTF 2024 brought together Fortune 500 companies, state-owned enterprises, and a rising generation of gazelle and unicorn firms, offering a panoramic view of the global tech industry. This year’s theme, “Technology Leads Development, Industry Integrates Fusion,” resonated through 17 emerging sectors and 22 specialized exhibitions. Approximately 400,000 attendees witnessed the unveiling of over 4,300 new products and technologies, illustrating the fair’s pivotal role as a launchpad for the next wave of innovation, inspiring hope for the future.
