Tech Fellows Program is an innovative effort designed to empower educators and, through them, the youth of Pakistan. At the heart of this initiative is a simple yet revolutionary concept: train the trainers. The program aims to equip Tech Fellows, a dedicated group of educators with expertise in robotics, generative artificial intelligence, and the latest information and communication technologies (ICT) advancements. These trainers will then disseminate this knowledge nationwide, ensuring that young Pakistanis are prepared for the digital age.

The visionary behind this initiative is the Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Mr. Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, a forward-thinking leader who understands that investing in human capital is the way to achieve national progress. The Secretary’s conviction is clear: if Pakistan is to compete on the global stage, it must foster a workforce fluent in emerging technologies. The digital revolution is not coming; it is already here, and we are already too late to grasp it, says Wani.

Tech Fellow is mainly a partnership between LearnOBots and the Federal Directorate of Education and is emblematic of the public-private synergy necessary to drive meaningful educational reform. LearnOBots, a pioneering Pakistani edtech company, brings expertise in STEM education and experiential learning while the government provides the institutional framework to scale these efforts nationwide.

By focusing on trainer education, the initiative ensures a multiplier effect; one trained educator can impact hundreds of students. This model of cascading knowledge dissemination has been successfully implemented in other countries that have prioritized tech literacy, such as Finland, South Korea, and Singapore.
