NSU Scholar Completes Prestigious Belt and Road Engineering Training in China

The National Skills University (NSU) Islamabad has added another international achievement to its growing record of global academic engagement, as Dr. Bilawal Rehman completed the China Southern Power Grid's 2026 Belt and Road Outstanding Engineers Training Program in Beihai and Guangzhou, China.

Currently pursuing postdoctoral research at Chongqing University, Dr. Bilawal Rehman participated in the prestigious program as a representative of National Skills University Islamabad and Chongqing University. The training brought together outstanding engineers from Belt and Road partner countries to strengthen technical expertise and promote international cooperation in the energy sector.

Reflecting on the experience, Dr. Bilawal Rehman expressed his gratitude to National Skills University Islamabad for the opportunity to conduct postdoctoral research in China. He reaffirmed his commitment to bringing back the advanced technical knowledge and international best practices gained during the program to foster stronger China–Pakistan collaboration in energy, innovation, and sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, the Rector of the University of Southern Punjab and former Founding Vice Chancellor of National Skills University Islamabad, congratulated Dr. Bilawal Rehman on this remarkable accomplishment, calling it a proud moment for the university and a testament to the quality of NSU's young scholars.
