National Skills University Islamabad is actively involved in scrutinizing applications for the Chief Minister Punjab "Honhaar" Undergraduate Scholarship Program.

The Institutional Committee for Verification and Scrutiny of Student Applications for the Chief Minister Punjab "Honhaar" Undergraduate Scholarship Program convened at FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Islamabad Campus, to evaluate and recommend eligible candidates. The meeting was held under the guidance of Mr. Salman Mirza, Additional Registrar at National Skills University, Islamabad, who was nominated as the focal person by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and the Higher Education Department (HED).

 

The Committee, tasked with reviewing applications based on stringent criteria established by the Punjab Higher Education Commission, comprised Mr. Aamir Munir, Assistant Professor of the Electrical Engineering Department, and Mr. Fida ul Hassan Shah, Manager at FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus. This team of experts meticulously scrutinized the applications of around 140 students, conducting interviews and evaluations to determine eligibility.

 

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Founding Vice Chancellor of the National Skills University Islamabad, has assembled a university with world-class academic leaders and administrators who will significantly contribute to all walks of technology. He particularly mentioned that recently, a Professor from the National Skills University Islamabad returned from China after participating in deliberations on digitalization in TVET, and he and his team members are playing a significant role in National Technology Council Initiatives.
