The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has officially launched its groundbreaking Regulatory Framework Portal, marking a transformative shift in Pakistan’s academic regulatory landscape. The portal was inaugurated by Honourable Ms. Wajeeha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, at a high-level ceremony held at the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad.
The new portal provides a centralized, digital interface through which international examination boards can register and obtain authorization to operate in Pakistan. This platform represents a key advancement in ensuring regulatory transparency, institutional trust, and operational efficiency.
“This portal is a step towards modernization and openness in academic regulation,” said Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of IBCC. “By digitizing the approval process, we are not only streamlining compliance but also reinforcing our quality assurance mechanisms.”
Minister Wajeeha Qamar praised the initiative, stating, “This portal brings Pakistan closer to international best practices in educational governance. By offering a transparent, user-friendly framework, the IBCC facilitates global academic collaborations while safeguarding our national academic standards.”
According to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, this initiative is the IBCC's strategic commitment to modernizing education oversight, bridging global-local academic interfaces, and enhancing service delivery through digital governance.
