Emerson University Multan to Launch IT-Based Skill Courses

Emerson University Multan is introducing a comprehensive array of IT-based skill courses under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ramzan, Founding Vice-Chancellor. This initiative will see nearly two dozen courses implemented by the Faculty of Computing and Emerging Technologies to empower students for entrepreneurship and online job opportunities.

The upcoming courses, each running for eight weeks, will place a strong emphasis on practical training. The curriculum's focus on real-world applications is intended to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs and freelancers who are not just knowledgeable, but also adept at thriving in online markets.

Dr. Ramzan underscored the university's unwavering commitment to outcome-based education, ensuring that graduates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to start or enhance businesses and excel in job markets. He further emphasized that the faculty continuously updates the curriculum to align with industry needs, employing innovative pedagogical methods to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Emerson University's approach rests on four key pillars: a curriculum tailored to modern industrial demands, transformative classroom models integrating holograms and simulations, cutting-edge educational technologies encompassing AI, IoT, and blockchain, and robust industry relations facilitating entrepreneurship and research.

"We encourage our students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges," explained Dr. Ramzan. The university is establishing a Technology Council and an International Advisory Board to ensure relevance and foresight.
