For the past three years, National Skills University Islamabad (NSU) has partnered with Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) to bring the celebrated tradition of Mazahia Mushaira to audiences worldwide. This year was no exception, as the grand literary festivity was once again recorded at the Al-Mukhtar Auditorium, National Skills University Islamabad, in collaboration with the National University of Modern Languages (NUML). This collaboration was initiated through the efforts of the Founding Vice Chancellor of National Skills University Islamabad and Program Producer Syed Haider Ali Shah and his entire team.

Comedy poetry, or Mazahia Mushaira, is a cornerstone of Urdu literary tradition, captivating audiences with its sharp wit, humor, and social commentary. This Eid, PTV's Mazahia Mushaira promises to be a three-day spectacle featuring some of Pakistan's most esteemed poets and literary figures, uniting humor and poetry to entertain and enlighten audiences across the globe.

A Literary Extravaganza Across Three Days

Eid Day 1: A Grand InaugurationThe first day of Eid will commence with an electrifying Mazahia Mushaira, featuring the celebrated poet and host, Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javed, as the evening's moderator. The lineup includes literary luminaries such as Mr. Nadeem Aazar, Dr. Saeed Iqbal, Mr. Khalid Masood, and Mr. Suleman Gillani, each known for their unparalleled contributions to humorous poetry.

Eid Day 2: Wit and Wordplay Take Center StageOn the second day, Dr. Tahir Shaheer will lead the poetic presentation, guiding a stellar cast of humorists, including Mr. Muhammad Arif, the legendary Mr. Anwar Masood, Mr. Rehmatullah, Mr. Amir, and the ever-popular Murli Chohan. Their poetry blends satire and laughter, offering viewers an unforgettable experience.

Eid Day 3 The Grand Finale: Dr. Tahir Shaheer will once again moderate the final day of Mazahia Mushaira. It will feature poetic performances from Mr. Shahbaz Chohan, Mr. Ahmad Saeed, Mr. Idris Qureshi, and Mr. Abdul Hakeem Nasif. Their evocative and humor-infused poetry will mark a fitting end to this grand cultural event.

A Fusion of Academic and Cultural Excellence
This year's Mazahia Mushaira was made possible through a landmark collaboration between NSU and NUML. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Founding Vice Chancellor of NSU, extended his gratitude to Brig. Shahzad Munir, Director General and Pro-Rector Resource at NUML, for his invaluable support in making this event a success. The presence of students from both institutions in the audience further underscored the role of academia in preserving and promoting literary traditions.
