A group of students who recently completed the Mobile Phone Repairing Technicians course at the National Skills University Islamabad (NSU) expressed their gratitude for the program's transformative impact on their professional empowerment. Equipped with new skills, many of these students have established their mobile phone repair businesses or pursued careers in e-marketing.
"We are delighted to have completed the NSU Mobile Phone Repairing Technicians course. The training has empowered us to open our own repair shops and explore opportunities in e-marketing," the students shared.
The success of these students is a testament to NSU's commitment to producing a skilled workforce. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar reiterated the importance of vocational training in fostering entrepreneurship and addressing unemployment, underscoring NSU's role in this endeavor.
In addition to its undergraduate technology programs, the NSU offers a diverse range of over two dozen skills certification programs at its Main Campus in Islamabad and Sarmad Tanveer Campus Muridke, Sheikhupura. According to experts, these short-term skills training initiatives play a crucial role in tackling unemployment challenges nationwide.
"Skilled human resources create opportunities for a decent living for youth by securing appropriate jobs or starting their businesses, including in the field of e-business," noted Professor Mukhtar.
