09/22 MOUs signed between National Skills University Islamabad, Ghazi University and Baba Guru Nanak University

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held at the National Skills University (NSU) Islamabad in which Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, VC of the university, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail (Sitara Imtiaz), VC, Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, VC, Baba Guru Nanak University participated along with the faculty and administrative staff.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail (SI) mentioned all the challenges Ghazi University faced and also highlighted the struggle to overcome those challenges. He also admired VC NSU Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, for his efforts and interest in educational partnership and collaboration between Ghazi University and National Skills University Islamabad.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal, while signing the agreement on behalf of his university, mentioned that the future of the nation depends on quality education and research.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar thanked both the higher education leaders and stressed on the need of skill education necessary for the economic development of the country. He further explained the reason behind the establishment of NSU by the government that is to further the vision and mission of the Federal Government by equipping the youth with modern skills. This is the only way to curb the menace of youth unemployment۔

At the end of the ceremony, both the Vice Chancellors were presented symbolic shields of skill by National Skills University Islamabad.
